Who We Are

In the hills of Milton TN our farm became a reality in 1995. Les and Kathy McCabe moved here from Murfreesboro and a few short years later bought the neighboring farm from Jimmy Moss and his mother Eliza Moss. Tailwynds Farm was born our name comes from the tailwinds an airplane makes while flying because Les was a Pilot for many years the name seemed to fit our farm perfectly. We have been raising black angus beef cattle since the start and offer USDA cuts from our herd we also sell eggs fresh from the farm. While Les is retired he has some much needed help on the farm these days his daughter Tara Bain son-in-law Michael Bain and their four children live on the farm as well and are excited to be expanding and offering new products this coming year.
